Code of Conduct
Through out the history of civilization, laws were created to protect
individuals and prevent anarchy in a community. The intent of these Code of
Conduct is to not only protect our members, but also provide an environment that
is conducive to growth and efficiency of the Shadow Knights organization.
General Conduct of Conduct (COC) - To all Members
1.) All members are to respect each other and guest to our community. Any signs
of intentional disrespect and character defamation will result in a violation.
If there is any type of misunderstanding, both parties should attempt to resolve
the matter and communicate in a rational manner without the use of vulgar
language. Treat one another like blood brothers. If the problem cannot be
resolved by the two parties, then the issue should be brought to the sK Round
Table. The CEO will deliver the final verdict.
2.) All members will follow the orders of higher ranking Officers or NCOs.
Insubordination or dissension will result in an automatic violation. No Officer
or NCO will give any order that violates the COC, or goes against a higher
ranking Officer's issued order or directive. All Officers and NCOs will take
full responsibility of any consequences of an inappropriate order.
3.) In any type of public forum, there will be no harsh swearing for the sole
purpose of demeaning a member. Trash talking is fine so long as both members
understand it to be so.
4.) Lying in any form will not tolerated.
5.) Any espionage tactics that is deemed to be detrimental to SK will not be
tolerated.
6.) No using Cheat Trainers and/or hacks at anytime.
7.) No member in the clan except the CEO and the Round Table (with given
permission from the CEO) is allowed to make final decisions of war, alliance,
arguments over COC rules, and tournaments.
8.) No racism or religious defamation will be tolerated in the Shadow Knights
community.
9.) Any member that decides to leave the Shadow Knights and join another clan
may do so. However, if that person decides to rejoin the Shadow Knights, a
violation will be assessed and applied to that individual.
10.) The Shadow Knights name shall not be slandered in any form.
COC Guidelines
Violations will be given by the CEO/SK Leader, COO, and CIO. The Round Table may
also issue one with the consent and involvement of the CEO.
Every member is allowed 3 violations before being banned from the Clan. A member
may be granted a one-time warning if it is determined that the violation was not
intentional.
When a member is in violation of the COC, his name will be posted in the sK
staff forums section. In the post, it will contain the current number of
violations, and a detailed description of the incident. If only a warning was
issued, the member's violation count will not increment.
Changes or new codes can be drafted by the Round Table, but must be approved by
the CEO before it becomes effective.
