Title: IP & DNS question

Hey what was the program that would let you say name your connection blahblah.dns????.com and it would let you access your pc even if your IP changed...i know muff used to have it...

i'm wanting to remote into my pc...my ip changes i cant do it anymore...know what i'm talking about?

It's not so much a program as it is a service. You are looking for dyndns.org. Here is a link to thier info page that will explain how to use them. http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/howto.html (http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/howto.html) The service is free if you use one of thier host names, read about it. I used them for quite a while when I ran a website off my computer long ago.

www.dnsstuff.com    wow, lotta info here.

though you might want to look at tigh vnc for a vpn client.   although muffy and i do it into our servers via microsoft various ways.
