I need him to get with me so we can hammer out this problem. Is it because of a school internet thing? has he done a tracert to the ip yet? If all else fails, I might be able to chane the port.

It's a campus Internet issue. He actually works in ResNet, the IT department for the dorms, and he's worked closely with another buddy of ours who is in ITS, the campus wide IT department. I think they did work to get 27015 cleared out, but getting the other ports open is more work. I don't know the specifics, but Brian will definitely talk to you about it. I'll try to get him on Vent this evening.

If it isn't fixed I figure he'll just have an extended recruitment period, so he does get to know everyone adequately (I was a recruit for 4 months myself). I'll also encourage him to start posting in forums and when I hear back from Crow (or someone else?) he can use CSD channel in Vent.

I need his steam ID. I am going to add him to my ping immunity list, that way he doesn't get kicked if his ping is too high.

Go check out the VOW clan servers or the TOC clan servers.  I can give you ups later, or you can get the vow from www.vow-clan.com - both are pretty decent.
